Okay everyone. I've been horrible at getting this crazy weeks adventures documented. I didn't want to post anything without pictures and I couldn't figure out how to put pictures on the blog from my phone. Anyways, blah blah blah - The week was a blast.
Mom and I went out of town and headed for the Hangout Music Festival/Gulf Shores in Alabama for my 21st birthday/girls vacay! From our hotel to the festival was 1.5 miles one way. We were guaranteed 3 miles everyday and we got in more exercise than that. Oh and not to mention the elevator was out the day we had to move out.... several trips up and down 3 flights of stairs was the last exercise of the trip.
My bikini didn't come in in time to wear. Well actually, correction, I got the bottoms in....great for a topless beach lol but not much use in my case. But I did get a new coverup, and I was feeling great in my coverup and I felt really good about my body as I trucked it out to the beach! I may be losing weight, but I like the protection of a coverup, especially one as cute as this!
I used to think that I would look like a beached mermaid in a maxi dress, but here I am, looking good, in my opinion!!
Headed to the Oyster House! It was delicous and the grilled shrimp was great!
Getting my tan on! Love laying on the beach! Also, FYI- the suscreen that comes in the glue looking tube feel just like...well, glue. Gross! I'm sticking to the greasy liquid kind instead! I love a trusty standby.

Oh and this is my hideous bruise!! First day of the trip and I must have hit my leg just right with the lawn chair (which worked out great on the beach) and ended up with the biggest bruise I've ever had in my life. Picture does no justice. I personally find bruises, scratches, scars etc. to be interesting and I've found myself taking multiple leg pictures of my bruise progression lol. I'm sure that's odd, but I can't be the only one, right?

We only ate a 1/4 of it. Promise!!! Lol. It was my birthday, c'mon guys!!!
And just trying to beat the heat. Literally though....one shade and we're there.
And because nothing cracks me up like "Head in a Hole" pictures!! ;))
