PB2, Weight Loss, PR Time

Could I be anymore behind?! Lol, I've missed blogging so much. Basically I've just been throwing stuff on Instagram (instagram name: baileywheeler), and have been completely consumed with tests. Which, it's been so long since I've blogged I have already gotten the test grade back haha. It was a 78% for my Human A&P lecture, and I just aced this A&P lab test. Just some FYI.

---Anyways, since I'm a total loser and haven't posted I have a ton of stuff to tell you guys! First off, I ordered PB2, regular and chocolate, off of Amazon last week. I was really nervous about a powder peanut butter that needed water, but this stuff is AMAZING. Especially when you're making stuff, granted I have eaten it plain, straight from a bowl as well.

With the PB2 I have been making this: (sorry for my completely lame picture taking of food)

Basically this is a version of STUFT Mama's STUFT protein cookie (found here). I had ran out of the brown rice cereal (which I use Rice Krispies), and was like....I need this oat/granola/cookie goodness. SO. Out of desperation I threw in a bowl: 1/2 cup whole grain oats, 2 scoops of Vi powder (any vanilla protein powder would do), 2 tbsp PB2 (either flavor is delicious), 3 tbsp of applesauce, 1 tbsp of silk milk (any milk, I just threw some in to wet the oats down more), and some ghirardelli chips. YUM.

Btw, this is what the STUFT protein cookie looks like, well...when I make it anyways ;) And I use Maranatha caramel almond butter, and let's just say you better have some self control for that stuff!

And, this week, Stuftmama followed me ;)

Weight wise I've been consistently losing. A pound at a time, but I love that. I love seeing numbers go down, normally I feel like I'm at the same number forever and I really hate that. I think that the 230s are going to be off in no time. I don't remember what I weighed last time I posted so I'll have to do the overall. I'm 237 pounds! I've come so far since 268! -31 pounds total! Also, I was a size 22, and I can't wear those anymore. I have 1 pair of 20s I'm wearing and just ordered 2 more pairs of Silver Jeans! Whoo. Also, this shirt was too tight to even put my arms down and here it is now:

And for some comparison: here's me the next week, another pound lighter ;)

Also, NSV - I had mentally set a goal at the beginning of this journey that I wanted to be able to run a mile in 12 minutes. When I started I was a little over 17 minutes! But on Saturday, I ran a 12 minute mile!! I felt so strong and realized just how much improvement I've made. This is my cousin, Robyn, and I after the run. Robyn ran it in 10 minutes I believe! We had repeated Week 6, and this week we're on to Week 7! Also, I'm really proud of us for even doing the run that morning. It was a Saturday morning, and I was going to be in town at 7:45am to lead a volunteer group on a community lake cleanup day. Instead of rolling out of bed and going to just that, I decided we always run at 5:45am anyways, and we should fit another run in. Robyn agreed and we busted it out from there!
