But sometimes, I like to be chill.
Having big fun times with my girls is amazing, I would be SO sad without working out with them!
It's an event: we talk, we compete, we support, we help out.
That said, there is something completely amazing about taking off for a run, solo, with no music.
I mentioned last year that I had started running without music. I think I forgot my iPod one day maybe, but whatever the story, I am officially a silent runner....mostly, besides my big bad wolf approach I got going on.
With all the Beast Mode going on in my AM gym sessions with the girls (which is for real guys, we go hard), and my new status as a full time student and full time employee, I threw out running.
And I do mean that. I discarded that like it was nothing. I had ran all summer basically about 3 times a week. School started and bam. On the weight train I go.
Love weights, love the girls, but I miss my trusty solo standby.
I've thrown it in to my weeks now though, and I am SO happy.
....^^^ SO HAPPY to run. Who would have thought?!
So with that said, in my 4:15am-10pm day, I have managed to sculpt out some run time! Work lets out at 5 and class starts at 6. Even if I only get a 15 minute run out of that sometimes (40 minutes other), I've decided to try for 2-3 times a week getting back on my running game as well.
Plus, I love a cold run. I guess it's the burning in my lungs that really draws me in haha. <<Seriously though.
So my mini message within all this is to find what you enjoy, make time for it, and have at it.
