Snow && Weigh Day

SNOW DAY

Loving this snow day for reasons so opposite my childhood - but loving it nonetheless. So this weekend I stayed at school to get some studying done. WRONGO. I wasted a weekend doing a lot of absolutely nothing. Sunday night, the night before my test, I was in a sad shape and thought to myself that I was going to fail my genetics test tomorrow. Luckily, at 6:38 a.m., I FINALLY got the text saying school was closed. Such a relief. Now I have my second chance to study and I have been pretty productive all day.

As far as my weight, today was weigh day! Unfortunately, I'm not at my house, so I'm not getting to use the scales there so I was kinda bummed about that. But earlier this week I got on my suitemates scales and the last digit was a 6, and today it was a 0!!! So no matter what weight I actually am, I've lost ~5-6 pounds this week! That's the most that I've lost in a single week thus far. Very excited. I know it was because I worked out everyday except Sunday, drank all my water, and changed up my routine. I started doing this:

elliptical: incline 13, resistance 4 - 1 mile in 14 minutes
3X10 -- 20 crunches, and 10 squats with a  6 pound medicine ball
elliptical: incline 15/resistance 5 - 1/2 mile in 7 minutes
100 jump ropes
elliptical: incline 15/ resistance 5 - 1/2 mile in 7 minutes

I did that Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday. Thursday was Kickboxing and Friday the gym was closed by the time I remembered it had different weekend hours, so I ran outside and did some stairs for 40 minutes. Friday's workout was real scattered, but I got my heart rate up there and was sweating it out.

I'm excited to be loosing and this week I'll bump my resistance up to 5 for the 1 mile, then 6 for the 1/2 miles. I think it'll be a good week again!
