What Do YOU Want From This

Okay guys this is going to sound so elementary, but I was thinking about this today [as I lay in my bed, in the dark, from 4-8 in the afternoon] whilst feeling sorry for myself because I opted to not work out Tuesday (I always allow one day off) and then did not get to (UNPLANNED --- OH NOOO) on Wednesday. I said to myself, "Bailey, what are you doing right now and how does that help you to achieve your goals." Let's just say.... I obviously wasn't doing squat to achieve much of anything. SO, that being said I want each of my friends trying to lose weight to really think about why they are doing this. What are you trying to accomplish? What are short-term and long-term goals in terms of how you want to feel, or what you want to accomplish? Here's my list that I made when I started living a healthier lifestyle and I decided that maybe this would inspire you to make your own list.

Remember Why You're Doing This
  1. To live an exciting and adventurous life and never shy away from something because of my weight.
  2. To be and to be seen as a woman who takes care of theirself.
  3. To look GREAT in a wedding dress, bathing suit, rose colored short shorts (specific, Right?! lol), etc.
  4. To one day have a cute baby bump. I would about DIE if someone thought I was just gaining all my weight back.
  5. To go into any store and be able to buy an entire outfit.
  6. To prove to myself that I am meant to have the body I always wanted.
  7. To not have medical problems.
  8. To be in great shape so I have the energy to keep up with my future family.
  9. To have energy and make more out of my days.
  10. To love everything about myself, not just parts.
All in no particular order. But, that's it. That's my list. Yeah I forget some of these or think of more sometimes, but these are the core reasons I'm doing this. From week to week I measure success and small speedbumps, but ultimately this is a lifestyle.
