I'm not going to lie, normally pictures of people eating is odd to me, but I laugh everytime I look at the hideousness that is my "NOM NOM NOM" picture lol. Anyway, some of the days events guys!!
Woke up this morning to do C25K Week 4, Workout 2 with my cousin, Robyn, pictured in the top left corner with me. It was pretty difficult, but again- we didn't stop. We mapped our run today and found out we did 2 miles in 30 miles. OMG--- a 15 minute mile?! Say What!!! Those 2 in 30 include a 5 minute warmup and a 5 minute cool down. I felt really cool, and Robyn was equally glad to bust out a good workout too. So when we got done at 6:30 am, I konked out so hard....Until, for the second time this week, the freaking fire alarms went off at 9:30 am. What is that?! Bah, I'll call Res. Life next week and gripe, this is ridiculous!
So I go to my classes, do my day, yadda yadda.. then I finally get to eat lunch. I did stuff a little differently today. I had Hungry Girl Flatbread Sliders (2 of them) and had my turkey on them, WITH yogurt, not miracle whip light. It was interesting. I think it may work out!
Later that night, after some failed homework attempts, I went to the gym, for my SECOND WORKOUT. Sweet. I busted out 15 minutes on the treadmill, then sort of just looked around...wondering what to do next. So I went in this mirrored room and knew I wanted to do something that would get me sweating and wasn't a machine. Then it hit me. The Step! So I busted out 2 blocks on each side and put the big step on there. I ended up doing 2 sets of 6 minutes on the step and was dripping with sweat at the end. I felt innovative and satisfied with my workout!
Now I'm ready for weigh in tomorrow, feeling confident about it. Also, really ready to get home and go shopping and out to eat with mom. We're going to a Ross they just put in, and I'm hoping to find some deals-I heard they were like a cheaper TJMAXX. Hope everyone has a great week!
