Seriously, STORYTIME.
Mom and I typically go to Walmart at least once a week, and often times we go more since our bootcamp is near and dear Walmart. Last night we had to run into Walmart (for who really knows what) and I was looking like a hot mess.
When we got to the check out line, I let Mom do all of that while I went and filled up my Bubba Keg (WATERRRRRR). Got my H2O, came back and bagged groceries, and the girl asked if I went to school at HSU. Some small chit chat occurred and then I was on my merry way OUT of Walmart lol.
During my time at the fountain is where the real story took place.
{{{The cashier girl was super nice and also went to HSU. She told my mom that I was looking really good and that she remembered me coming into the Garrison Center at school one day when it was snowing, and I was looking for a place to walk.}}}
---People.... to some this may be a small thing, but I was SO inspired that someone had been watching my journey and thought enough to remember me. I went home with a huge smile on my face lol and it's really stayed with me.
Mainly because I had no clue who she was, and I barely remembered that day. But she was nice enough to take notice, and that was a pretty good while back. You never know who you are inspiring or who is watching.
And there I was... being remembered for busting my butt in the cold. Glad I went for a run that day. I'd much rather someone remember who I am from looking for shelter from snow on my run than something lazy or unhealthy.
