Health, Wealth, & Happiness

Cheers to all 3!!

I have been so on track at the gym here lately. The workouts are hard, I'm making them, and I am improving.

I have already increased weights and am doing moves that I would have never done before trying to really BUILD muscles, like deadlifts and back squats.

I can bench 95 pounds. I did just the bar the other day 30-something times, and that was AFTER the whole workout.
I feel so empowered through lifting weights.
The only downside is having to get up at 4:15 am to do it.
BUT, I would rather get up and be a boss at 4:15 than sit around and be miserable feeling.

Adding to the great things happening in my life would be that I got my first job!!! I'm an Administrative Specialist at HSU's off campus Community Education Center!!! Basically, yes, that's fancy for secretary and an event coordinator for our community clean-up project.
Luckily, my boss is great. I've screwed up on some little things here and there, and she has not gotten upset with me. Granted, I've also taken the initiative and done some abve and beyond work too so it's evened out.

ALSO, because this is a job at my school, I now have a retirement plan, similar days off to what school has, my graduate school classes only cost $25/credit hour, and I have dental and health insurance, on top of a pretty decent first time job salary.
I'm really glad that they had faith in me to hire me. This is going to be great experience with great people before I enter into a counseling profession.

As far as happiness, I only get happier as years pass. That's such a great feeling. My bf is such a huge part of that. SOOOO here's some mushiness of us :)) Oh, and some clothes.... because come on... let's be real.
