Last night was a blast!! We went to Grand Prairie, Texas and jammed out to some Avett Bros. It was a great time. Getting there, we managed to go to the venue right next to the Verizon Theather...which apparently was hosting some sort of rave? We made it all the way up to their will call booth before we figured it out. Granted... we thought the whole time "These don't look like the normal Avett Brother fans". Coming off of the festival at the beach last week I thought this was the new summer concert look all the skinny bitches sported. Why, I don't know, because I've been to my fair share of summer concerts--- But seriously... I was shocked at the nakedness. This picture is just one car of the more covered up ladies.
Anyway though, once we got there we had a great time and I can't wait to go to Louisiana and see them again on Tuesday!! Wondering what all they will do this time. Love that they keep their set list switched up. And the dancing! I had a cookie, and I know I burned it off. If you've never seen the Avett Brothers dancing you're missing out. Its like a billy goat on crack, but refined and somehow sexy. Also, at the concert, Dirk Nowitzki of the Dallas Mavericks was in the audience with us, luckily not in front of us!!
P.S. -- I also packed a snack bag again and my 64 oz water bottle. Then we only stopped at McDonald's for lunch. Not lunch and 1 a.m. snack lol. Feel like we did great on our eating!
