Losing 25 Pounds

---25 POUNDS GONE---

This is huge. I felt like the 20-25 pound era was suffocating me, taking me forever to get away from. But, here it is..gone, and it is off. I am very proud of myself for continuing on my journey to get the weight off, it was never even an option to quit. I don't want to quit. I wanted to not take forever to lose that last pound, but I am so happy to just be healthy. I really hope this encourages everyone who is running through quicksand trying to lose weight!!

Also, this -25 pounds is the halfway point of the year so I know I can get the -50 by the end of the year, my New Year's resolution/goal. Today, I also took my measurements. I didn't measure myself when I started my weight loss (BIG MISTAKE), but I want to know where I am at my next -25 pound loss. I was just happy that the measuring tape fit completely around my body, honestly. Very happy.

MEASUREMENTS (in inches)
Calf ---------------------------- 17.5
Thigh----------------------------- 29
Hips-------------------------------51
Waist----------------------------48.5
Boobs-----------------------------47
Wrist-----------------------------5.75
Upper Arms-------------------- 16.5
Backfat----------------------------41
Neck-------------------------------13
Forearm------------------------10.75

Now it's time for me to assess where I'm at, where I want to be, and how I'm going to get there. I have some new goals that Im excited to strive towards, namely climbing up Pinnacle Mountain or a trail at Petit Jean State Park, and I also want to participate in a 5k and finish in a decent time that I've yet to set, I'll have to think about what a good time for me would be. I love personalizing my own weight loss plan ;)

Oh, and I've always been about the rewards during weight loss, besides being pounds smaller, inches gone, working out harder and stronger, and all the other benefits, I like a little prize. For -25 pounds down, I wanted to get a new Pandora charm for my bracelet. I'm heading to the jewelry store tomorrow to look and see which one looks the best with the charms I have now. I'm thinking this will be the one though ;)

  2. Congrats Bailey! That's brilliant and you're so right to reward yourself. I love the colour of the charm! I know what you mean about taking measurements at the start as I never did either, I have some from a few months before I started to lose so I may just use those. It'll be great for you to see the measurement comparisons! :)
