Well, this was my first week of Graduate School for Clinical Mental Health Counseling! Loved it. Y'all will too, I'll bust some inspirational business for y'all soon.
I go MTWT, so I have a 3 day weekend to live it up during the summer. Typically, that would include a weekend of swimming, but with all the crazy weather and rain in the South here lately, that's not really been an option. The boyfriend lives on a houseboat on the lake and he is flooded in right now, and no one wants to swim in a lake of cold rain and debris. It'll be over soon hopefully though. Also, he's completly fine so no worries!
It was a good deal that this weekend we were headed out to TX for some Avett Bro concerting good times! This is the only concert weekend, or concert in general, that we have planned this summer, which is really not the speed we're used to. BUT, we were glad to have these. Day 1 of the Concert Weekend we got front row again!! Never gets old ;) It was a really good concert, and we danced and jumped, and calf-raised the whole time haha. Day 2 of Concerting was not as great. We still love the Bros (DUH) but it was a festival and we basically milled around at the festival from 2-9 waiting to hear our band. The set was VERY similiar to the night before, and we were too far back to really see good. Luckily, bc the set was similiar, I got to hear a song that I love (and hadn't heard before) get played 2x! ;)
As far as the driving, that 1000 mile weekend was rough on us! I had charlie horses in my legs when I went to bed Friday night, and Mom's arm had been cramping up from driving. BUT, I pride myself on not falling asleep while mom was driving! Guys, sometimes I like pass out and can't help it. I cranked up those timeless 80s and 90s jams and we made it to our destination on that haha.
We also packed food again and that really worked out for us. Some of the travel foods we brought: dark chocolate covered raisins, grapes, strawberries, pb sandwiches, protein muffins, and these dietary waffle cone things mom eats.
Here's some photos from the weekend:
Oh, and I absolutely LOVE the shirts we got! FYI: My fave style shirt is a baseball T. Here's a Prog Photo in it!!
Also--- a reminder that I'm mainly on top of Instagram, so hit me up on there at username: baileywheeler. Have a great week!
I started this blog in 2011, to record my weight loss journey, & to hold myself accountable. Specifically, I began my journey Dec. 26th 2011. I'm 22 years old, female, 5'4, and to date have lost 44 pounds. This year, I have made incredible leaps and bounds in my journey and I LOVE the blogging community. My followers are crazy smart & super creative! I steal a lot of my good ideas from them ;) Hope through my posts, y'all are able to steal a few also. Thanks for stopping by!
